The service here was fantastic. We had a drink before dinner and returned promptly. Since we were already full, we didn't order any food. The ambiance of the place was relaxed. The highlight of the evening was when the bartender claimed to know my wife and me and that we had visited her during Christmas Eve. Although that wasn't true, I pretended to believe her, which made for a delightful night.

Found 1518 based upon the reviews. It did not disappoint. We were greater and served by George, he couldn't have been more accommodating. Refilled drinks without being asked. The food was phenomenal. Crab cake was mostly crab and the steak tips were cooked as requested. The side salad was not your typical iceberg lettuce but a nice mix of greens. There were a lot of regulars there, and it had a nice vibe.

Such a fun bar! I stayed at a hotel around the corner and they were giving out vouchers for a buy one get one free deal. My friend and I were able to get drinks after checking in and before exploring the area for the night. The service was great and the bartenders were super nice. The bar is cool inside and has plenty of seating. Next time I visit I'll be sure to try the food!

This place is the go to place if you want late night food on a week night in downtown Philly. We got our food pretty quickly. I ordered a Caesar Chicken salad which was very delicious. My favorite part was the salad had red peppers that were roasted and possibly pickled. The salad also had Parmesan cheese croutons which were amazing. The waiter was super nice and attentive. There are also a lot of TVs so it probably is a great place to get watch games at.

Great food! Great setting! Good service! Fair prices and a great happy hour menu! The short rib sandwich was tender and one of the best I've had. Burger was a good portion and nice and greasy. A lot of cool memorabilia on the walls. Good lunch option.

The barbecue wings are delicious! We also ordered the buffalo wings. The atmosphere is lively. It's More on the loud and vibrant side with music and several TV's to watch the game. Parking is always a challenge in this area and can be expensive but you might get lucky. We had a fun night.

Where can you get Shrimp with Mushrooms Risotto, Fried Scallops, a Crab Cake sandwich, and a Lamb Gyro on your way to a concert at the Kimmel Center? At the 1518 Bar and Grill! Everyone in our party raved about their meal, though our meals went from "bar food" to restaurant food. Our cocktails were also very good. Our server was on top of their game, brought the menus and offered drink refills promptly - and took pictures. If you're in South Philly and looking for a place to eat, you found it!

Had never been before-- loved that they are open late in center and have actual food on the menu, not just a bar. Our server Raven was so kind. I ordered the TED sandwich- thanksgiving every day. I'm really glad it came on this ciabatta (?) bread as opposed to a sourdough. Turkey is notoriously dry so I think a little more cranberry sauce to even it out would have been great, but it was also yummy dipped in ranch! The fries were good. Decent portion size. Would go here again
